The mission of the Latin Business Hawaii (LBH) is to serve as a bridge that links Hawaii’s Hispanic business and
professional community with the larger business community in order to create and promote economic, social and cultural
development for the benefit of all.
What We Do...
We promote and strengthen the economic welfare of Hawaii's Hispanic business community, and
that of the mainstream society.  We support pro-active activities in the areas of Hispanic education,
civic leadership and community development; and create business opportunities for our members.
We are the leading voice for Hispanic businesses and business people in Hawaii.
What the need was...

LBAH links Hawaii's Hispanic business community with the mainstream business community to
promote economic development.

Hawaii's Hispanic business community had articulated a need for a viable, serious,
professionally-run Hispanic business organization that was about business and of mainstream
"downtown" quality.

Four Hawaii Hispanic businessmen and women heeded the call -- two Puerto Ricans,  a Mexican
and a Cuban (hey, if you're doing business... you always gotta have a Cuban).

The good friends, and proud Latino(a)s, decided to create a business  organization focused on
sharing knowledge, resources and contacts to help our members succeed.  That was the genesis of
the Latin Business Hawaii (LBH).

You don't have to speak Spanish or be a Hispanic to join LBH, but you must be willing to help your
fellow members -- and their businesses -- succeed.
